William Hill, a leading sports betting service provider, has launched a brand-new sportsbook app in Nevada, United States. This release comes with the updated Caesars technology that's now the most preferred across the country.
The company informed users earlier that the sports betting app will be unavailable after upgrading. Besides the new platform, bettors can also place their wagers online, allowing them to continue betting while waiting to upgrade to the app.

The adjustment comes before the preseason for the upcoming NFL season following the infamous William Hill app crash earlier in the year, leading to Super Bowl chaos. The crash resulted in negative press after countless bettors could not request payouts. Caesars and William Hill apologized for the outage, which lasted several days.
The outage accelerated plans to roll out the Caesars platform, which is live in other jurisdictions across the United States. The sportsbook operator said the inconvenience resulted from a complex, real-time data issue, making it challenging to get back online.

For the past year, we have been working on bringing our new, state-of-the-art sports betting platform to the market. With Nevada being our longest-tenured state, it is important that our new platform is battle-tested. As we rolled that system out across the country, it performed very well during the Super Bowl.”
The new platform is now live in Nevada, although the sportsbook told players that more features like early cash out will be available in the coming weeks. William Hill said all active bets and funds will be unaffected after the app transition.
